SHIPPING POLICY
Thank you for visiting and shopping at Classic Indian Arts.
We ship to all countries having Diplomatic relations with India. This includes all countries in North America, Europe, Australasia, and South America.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days of receipt, or within the lead time specifically mentioned for the product on the website. Orders are not processed or shipped on Sundays or Holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we may contact you via E-mail or phone.
Shipping rates and delivery estimates
Shipping is free for all items when delivered in India and Shipping charges will be imposed on overseas locations.
Shipping for all orders above US$ 50 will be through the Federal Express CorporationTM; UPSTM; or DHLTM. Shipping may also be done by any other carrier, if such a request is made by the buyer. Orders below US$ 50 may also be shipped through FedExTM/DHLTM, at the sole discretion of Classic Indian Arts.
In case a shipment of value less than US $50 is not shipped by FedExTM/DHLTM, the shipment will be sent by Registered International Air Mail. Delivery for such shipments will normally take place between 10 to 20 days and will have limited tracking facility.
The normal period for delivery to US, European, and Australian destinations is between 3 to 5 business days from the date of shipment. However, Classic Indian Arts does not guarantee any time limit of delivery. In odd instances, a consignment may be delayed due to extraneous circumstances such as delayed Customs clearance, Flight delays, etc.
Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses
Classic Indian Arts ships to addresses within the US, US Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs Clearance
The consignment will be delivered to the buyer at his/her doorstep by the Carrier, after all customs formalities have been completed. The Carrier will be responsible for the clearance of the shipment from Customs.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Classic Indian Arts is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (Including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).
Items listed on our website are largely exempt from customs duties and taxes within the USA.
Expected VAT in mainland Europe will be mentioned.
Damages
Classic Indian Arts is fully committed to the safe and timely delivery of your order. In case of any damage to the ordered items in transit, contact us with the order details immediately. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods for inspection by the insurance company.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery
We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the courier. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
Classic Indian Arts will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.
Missing or Stolen Shipments
